in medias res

i am slacking off. because of body pains. lolz.

ang saklap ng grade ko sa 1st theo long exam. huhu. sana mas nag-aral ako dun sa 2nd. oh, well. why am i not religious?! (-_-)

we've been having a LOT of free cuts lately. :) i hope my lit prof gets better soon. huhu. i miss her classes. the only subject i haven't had a free cut is western histo. bummer.

Beowulf is giving me a headache. i want to get over it, and read Inferno already.

we're off to building houses next saturday for Gawad Kalinga because the kids at House of Refuge need to attend make-up classes for the ones suspended. aw. hopefully, it'll be fun. :)

french is turning out to be a very fun subject and probably the only one i'm getting a high grade at as of the moment. *_*

ugh. i want to get rid of our dog already. don't get me wrong, i have nothing against dogs.. OUR dog however is freaking me out, plus the maintenance is heavy on the effort factor, even more so now because he's bigger but seems to constantly crave for attention and playtime; and lotsa and lotsa food.. which is a bad thing because no one's really at home nowadays. most of us get home about 6pm. ::sigh:: poor Nuggets.

i still have nothing to wear, and no gift for Steffie. hee.

i miss my sister's goddaughter - sophie. ang kulit. ^_^ kaso may pasok ako plus practice this weekend so di ko siya maabutan sa bahay. aw.

Lean, Mean Venting Machine

It's Aaallliiiiive!

The "it," being me, or this blog. Haha!

An update! Yey!

So, ano bang meron? o_o

Aside from the fact that being a Lit (Eng) major in AdMU has killed my social life, nothing much. ::rolls on the floor and dies:: Hahaha!

Ouf. (French for "Whew." hehe.) We had to read The 24 books of The Iliad, The Oresteia, and now the Aeneid (na according to Madame Vilches is pronounced as "eyniyed.") We're moving on to Beowulf and Tales... and I am boring you with all these facts, but bear with me. LOL. Did I mention they're all in verse forms? Hmm, saya noh? Hahaha!

Well, joking aside, I really am enjoying Lit class. ^_^ Eventhough I get confused and lost, close reading of literary texts has always been very appealing to me. Oh, diba, san ka pa?! Hahaha!

Days have really fast-paced these days. Dunno why. What with all the lectures, tests, papers, and practices for outside stuff.

There was this thing last weekend where our neighbor who's a neighborhood official kept hounding us with demands of vote registration (me, my sister and brother). It was so frustrating, and just added to the list of things I had to finish. Argh. But it didn't pull through though, which is more frustrating because I prepared my ID, and filled out the forms and other stuff. I knew my brother and sister were busy with work, but the least they could do was properly say if they were going to be able to go or not. Le sigh. Anyway, now our neighbor official's probably pissed coz we bailed but no can do since we already did it. Wonder if I should talk to her personnally about it...

PE is killing me... My knees hurt all the time, my whole body actually. Didn't know it was gonna be that hard. Waaaah.. It's fun though, so I guess it's Ok. I canNOT believe I failed the midterms. I got a 33 over 50, but the passing was 37, so my day didn't exactly start right. This probably the end of my A-Grade-PE career. LOL.

My busiest subject is probably LIT 126.1 and TH121. We've been spending a lot of time in the Theo dept consulting with our prof regarding the group project, we're turning into Theo majors. No kidding. I had to cut one 1 and 1/2 hour class of History just to consult with the group, which turned out not to be required. Not to mention the fact that I ran into my prof BEFORE the class I was about to cut. Hahaha! I can't believe I'm actually reading The Bible now, plus appreciating movies like The Exorcist and the Exorcism of Emily Rose. Hee.

We had this project in HI18 (Western History) wherein we had to act out Renaissance paintings our prof gave us, and he showed us the combined outcome of all the groups today. ROFL. They were great! Imagine nudity, improvised diapers, big bodies, funny faces, and superimposed pictures all in one presentation. Fun. ^_^ He said we all aced it. Weee.

Las week was Hell Week for us, so now's a time to relax before another week of suffering comes in. Thanks to the typhoon, at least one day was cancelled. That was weird actually. Last Wednesday when we had the worst weather, classes were all abound but the next day when classes were suspended, the weather was just right. LOL.

Wow, grabe. Nagpractice kami nung blockmate ko para sa cotillon ng debut ng isa ko pang blockmate/friend - ang HIRAP ng steps. Hahaha! Kasi imbes na traditional, ginawang modernized - may ballet, street, jazz, tska partner-thing na kasama. Basta ang slow ko ma-pick-up, buti na lang nalaman ko agad, at least we have time to practice.

Can I borrow it? Pretty please? ^__^ hahaha!

Technology HATES me! T_T Waaaaaah! I've lost my phone, now we've lost our PC monitor! NOOOOOO! Huhuhu.
