Ma-May random updates

Happy Mother's day! (well, i'm a bit late since it's about 2am already of may 14, but what the heck. :)

It was a good day today. had a slow start, but everything turned out fine. i forgot to greet my mom happy mother's day the moment i first saw her today (i mean yesterday.. hee.), and only remembered while we were eating breakfast! (i was last to sit down - overslept - it's a sunday, people. =p) nyerk. i felt a bit guilty, and to think we didn't even buy her a card! and she cooked and prepared breakfast while we all slept in! aw..

so i was thinking of buying her a something, but didn't have any money, so imagine my sweet surprise when my older sister sidetracked me and told me to find an excuse so we could go out and buy cake and stuff. she'd share the expense with my brother, she said. :)

so that's what we did. we bought a big choco mousse cake and and one big bilao of palabok pansit at red ribbon. and my mom had no idea. heehee.

there were lots of people at the store, btw. but not as much as we expected. anywayz, we wanted something written on the icing, but there were just too many people ordering, the store decided to devise a plan of just giving away mother's day cards together with the cake. it was cute. wasn't able to take a pic of the card, but we wrote something like this: Big Mama, happy mother's day! from The Children. we heart you! hehe. - LOL, it's an inside joke, we kept laughing the whole time. hehehe. ;D

and my mom, being the sweetie that she is, gave some to my titas and neighbors. hahaha! it's what she does whenever there's lots of food, especially at our vicinity. my friends who've been at our place will get it. ;)

the national elections is coming up. later today. and i'm thinking this will be one "uneventful" election. i HOPE. one thing i'm sure of is chiz escudero, loren legarda, and manny villar will win. if they don't, then the election is one big effing joke.

found out LOTS of things about other people's lives today which were very.. informative.. for lack of a better word. about celebrities and "celebrities" alike. life is so weird. or maybe it's just me. hahaha, it's just me. ^_^ peace.

i want to go to wordpress, but i have yet to find the time to register and stuff. plus i'm still trying to remember my forgotten password at aisis online or i'll never be able to enlist for my course subjects online.. NOOOOOOO!

i've made an official email now, for professional matters and school stuff. it has my name on it. ang corny, hahaha.

the oldest mother i actually personally know is only 78+ yrs old (not sure if she's over 80) and we call her "Mader" (with a fast and hard pronunciation) but we can also call her "Lola Miding." - a neighbor of ours who goes WAY BACK with our family, in my mom's teenage years. hee. she said she's getting impatient at my brother and sister for not getting married sooner and producing grandchildren. LOL. and she's not getting any younger. ahaha! i hadn't even known her until six years ago, i think, and before we were formally introduced, she came up to me on the street and hugged me to death and kissed me all over my face, rambling about how we grew so fast. seriously. ^_^

this is getting way too long, even if i do want to write more. guess i'll update again soon. i am still addicted to "heroes" and "television without pity" website. i'm so disappointed at prisonbreak and grey's anatomy. :(

i just found out that kenot sy, one of my blockmates, who's soon going to be a former blockmate, is officially migrating to new zealand and will probably go to Auckland University - number 46 on the top 500 universities list, AdMU's 484. and he's going without even giving me the printed photo he said he'd give.. >_< bummer. hahaha, i kid. i wish him the best of luck and hope he makes the experience worthwhile. tama ung sinabi ng friend niya sa multiply, mababawasan na ng isang fafa ang pilipinas! hahahahaha!
