I'm writing this entry in a happy mood. Hehe.
I woke up late. When I alarmed my phone for 5:00 am, I instead woke up at 6:00. Then I found out I had to buy shampoo and toothpaste at the nearest sari-sari store 'cause we've run out of stock. I was a bit miffed then beacause it wasn't fair that I was still the one required to do errands, when my younger sister isn't allowed - eventhough when I was her age, I HAD to do the errands already. After getting back, I found out that I forgot to buy something more improtant (which I will not anymore state here), but I'd already stepped into the shower, so, no can do.
It was starting out to be a very bad day.
There's this thing in our classroom where the whole right side of armchairs, beside the window, cannot be occupied anymore because of the incessant heat and sunlight. When I arrived at school, I found that Monique and Cid were sitting on mine and EK's previously occupied spots. But it was okay, it wasn't the first bell yet anyways. When it was time to go to our "original" seats, EK approached and I tried getting on our seats but "someone I will not name" got their first (when he wasn't even supposed to be sitting there in the first place!) and occupied the two seats, with him and his bag!
Ok, so, no biggie, I stood up and asked him politely (with a small gesture and a soft voice), "Could we sit there instead?"
Do you know what he did? Oh, he moved alright, but only freed one seat. After that, he gave this agitated/annoyed expression (with matching rolling of the eyes and a deep breath) and banged his bag on the next armchair.
WTF?
Puhleaze... Spare me the drama, my gentleman. It's only seats. Jeez. Is chivalry completely dead?
