Manic Monday Misadventures 2

Do professors have this ESP when they know you're either not listening or lost in class, or while you're actually looking for a missing page in one of your readings that he's currently discussing?

Because Mr. Pu exactly has that. He keeps on calling evryone who doens't know the answer or has a different way of thinking regarding the topic.

And that includes poor little old me.

Anyway, we Lit majors love him to death, so what the heck.

I could not get this song out of my head all day, even to the point where I'm singing it beside someone who could potentially feel embarassed about it. LOL. Pardon the errors in lyrics. :p

I don't want a lot this Christmas
there is just one thing I need... Oh!
I don't care about the presents
underneath the Christmas tree!
I just want you for my own!
More than you could ever know!
Make my wish come true...!
All I want for Christmas is you...! Baybeh!

On unrelated notes for this manic Monday:

  • We ran out of black ink this morning just when I was trying to print my third worksheet for English.
  • EK and me got lost on our way to Bellarmine for INTACT
  • I labelled my quiz paper in Lit 14 with the subject Litz 13. LOL.
  • We got the same area for locker occupation. Urgh.
  • I almost fell dead asleep in Botany today, though she (the prof) keeps warning us that she'll give a rainfall of quizzes once she's finished discussing. ::sigh:: I can't wait.
  • We found out all about NSTP, some sort of field work in third year, and an unforgettable Immersion in fourth year. Whoa, I'm excited!^_^
  • We reminisced childhood with "Julio at Julia: Twins of Fate," Kimba, Blink Dink, Captain Planet, and debutantes. Ha ha! ^_^
  • Almost everyone in school was wearing RED, including me.
  • We saw "The Game" this afternoon and he waved at us! Hehe, we thought he wouldn't recognize us. :p
  • I'm enjoying having a blog... hmmm, that surprises me, somewhat. Hehe.

Tired from typing now. And hungry. :) Better get going. See ya!

Manic Monday Misadventures 1

I'm writing this entry in a happy mood. Hehe.

I woke up late. When I alarmed my phone for 5:00 am, I instead woke up at 6:00. Then I found out I had to buy shampoo and toothpaste at the nearest sari-sari store 'cause we've run out of stock. I was a bit miffed then beacause it wasn't fair that I was still the one required to do errands, when my younger sister isn't allowed - eventhough when I was her age, I HAD to do the errands already. After getting back, I found out that I forgot to buy something more improtant (which I will not anymore state here), but I'd already stepped into the shower, so, no can do.

It was starting out to be a very bad day.

There's this thing in our classroom where the whole right side of armchairs, beside the window, cannot be occupied anymore because of the incessant heat and sunlight. When I arrived at school, I found that Monique and Cid were sitting on mine and EK's previously occupied spots. But it was okay, it wasn't the first bell yet anyways. When it was time to go to our "original" seats, EK approached and I tried getting on our seats but "someone I will not name" got their first (when he wasn't even supposed to be sitting there in the first place!) and occupied the two seats, with him and his bag!

Ok, so, no biggie, I stood up and asked him politely (with a small gesture and a soft voice), "Could we sit there instead?"

Do you know what he did? Oh, he moved alright, but only freed one seat. After that, he gave this agitated/annoyed expression (with matching rolling of the eyes and a deep breath) and banged his bag on the next armchair.

WTF?

Puhleaze... Spare me the drama, my gentleman. It's only seats. Jeez. Is chivalry completely dead?

Sunday Funday

Ah, my second post! What bliss... ^_^
It's almost 11:00 pm right now and I still haven't done my third worksheet ("workshit" as my blockmate, Liane, put it) in English12 YET. I was about to do it, but I wanted to post something first.

On a more important note (for me, anyway), my stupiduty reigned on me again when I accidentally added @yahoo.com on my username here at blogspot... the OC in me cannot stand it. I want to pound my head with a hammer or do something else neurotic. URRRRGGHH! (>_<)

The crammer in me is winning, and my mind is waiting for the clock to strike midnight before I start focusing on what's supposed to be finished.

I've watched Ice Age 2, X-Men I and II, and other unimportant shows; even finished reading Judith Krantz's Mistral's Daughter, but I STILL can't think of plausible topics for research related to Lit. ::sigh:: (-_-) I have got to stop procrastinating.

"Push button to eject Serrano!" LOL, I know it was mean, but the look on my prof's face while he was telling us about this so-called vandalism was priceless. Heehee.

A Day on the Farm

I'm listening to Carrie Underwood right now, and it just depresses me that she stuck to country music.

Scratch that, I'm just depressed - no Underwood involved.

My second semester has just begun, and I feel like crap. I really want to start right: be a good, hardworking student and all that... but I just can't seem to find the drive. Argh!

What have I been doing lately?

  • Reading Jessica Zafra: I can't believe I just found out about her! Thank you, Mei! ::snickers:: I'll be trailing Bob Ong next.
  • Terrorized by Botany: I'm either bored to death or scared to death in this class. God, help me.
  • Adoring Yul on Survivor:Cook Islands
  • Adjusting to my new RED spectacles. Merry Christmas! Yay! (They had better last longer than my previous one, or else.)
  • Being eternally self-conscious
  • Working on this Blog
  • Racking my brains for an interesting research topic related to my major
  • Doing chores
  • Despising my egotistical brother
  • Struggling with volleyball as PE (stupid, stupid me)
  • Trying to find the time for a movie marathon with all the DVDs my dad sent us
  • Excessively eating Japanese noodles. Ha!
